How we process your data when you visit our website or send an inquiry.
1. Controller
TaktUfer Proprietor: Renè Bernst Fahrgasse 5 63225 Langen (Hessen) Germany Email: hallo@taktufer.de
2. Website, hosting and technical logs
We use Replit, Inc. to run this website and its database. A visit involves processing connection data such as your IP address, the time and the page requested. Technical logs help identify faults and protect the website against abuse.
Application logs contain information about page requests, response status and processing time. They are distinct from the hosting and authentication providers' operational and security logs.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and functional operation of the website.
3. Inquiry form and contact
We process your name, email address and event information: occasion, date, location, guest count, event setting, performance duration and requested equipment. This includes genres, music wishes, playlist links, music to avoid and your message. You may optionally provide a telephone number and callback request; corporate inquiries may also include a company name and invoicing requirements.
We use this information to respond, agree on suitable services and prepare a possible booking. We need the information required by the form to handle your inquiry; you cannot submit it without that information. Acknowledging this privacy notice is neither cookie consent nor consent to advertising.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the inquiry concerns a possible contract with you. If you act as a contact for a company or another person, processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our interest is responding to and coordinating that inquiry.
We store the inquiry and its processing status, including the requested services, calculated price and acknowledgement of the privacy notice. Playlist links are not automatically retrieved from music services. The price calculation results in neither a binding booking nor an automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Email and forwarding
We use STRATO GmbH for our email mailboxes and delivery. This involves processing contact details, message content and information needed for delivery. We use them to acknowledge receipt, handle your inquiry internally and continue the correspondence.
After you submit, we send an automatic acknowledgement to the email address you entered and an internal notification containing your inquiry details to our business mailbox. The acknowledgement does not confirm a binding booking or reserve your date.
Incoming messages are forwarded to another STRATO mailbox used by the proprietor to handle inquiries. STRATO therefore also processes the forwarded messages. Our public contact address is hallo@taktufer.de.
The active STRATO Mail Archiving service stores additional copies of emails included in archiving, including message content and attachments. It supports retaining business correspondence and necessary evidence. Deleting a message from a mailbox does not automatically remove an archived copy. For archiving, STRATO lists IONOS SE for infrastructure and Singapore-based Dropsuite Ltd. for software and operations.
The legal basis for inquiry correspondence is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for preparing or performing a contract. For inquiries on behalf of others, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR applies; our legitimate interest is handling that inquiry. Archiving records that must be retained by law is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR together with the applicable retention duties. Where correspondence is retained for specifically required evidence, the basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our interest is documenting business transactions. Not every inquiry is subject to a statutory retention period.
5. Abuse prevention and duplicate inquiries
To protect the form against spam and repeated submissions, we process connection data and protection identifiers derived from IP and recipient addresses. These identifiers are pseudonymised. We also store information that allows us to recognise an inquiry already submitted.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is preventing spam, abuse and unintended duplicate processing.
6. Cookies and browser storage on public pages and in the form
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. The hosting infrastructure uses the GAESA cookie to route page requests to the correct application instance. It contains a routing identifier, not form entries, and has a lifetime of approximately 30 days.
Form entries not yet submitted are held only in the open page's memory. A full page reload or closing the page discards them. The form does not create Local Storage, Session Storage or IndexedDB entries for this, or set its own form cookie.
These storage accesses provide the website and form functions you requested. We rely on section 25(2), point 2 TDDDG for this access and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for personal-data processing.
7. Recipients, retention and transfers
The proprietor handles inquiry data. Apart from the providers described here, no other people or DJs receive your inquiry data. The providers are Replit for the website and database, and STRATO for both email mailboxes, delivery and mail archiving with the subprocessors described above.
Retention depends on how long the data are needed to handle an inquiry, perform a possible contract and retain necessary evidence. Once the purpose ends, the data must be deleted unless statutory retention duties or legitimate grounds for establishing or defending claims require continued storage. Legally required further storage is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. Providers' retention rules also apply to logs and backups.
Replit is a US provider; its services may involve processing particularly in the United States. Replit's published data processing agreement provides for EU Standard Contractual Clauses under Article 46(2)(c) GDPR: https://replit.com/dpa. For Singapore-based Dropsuite, which is involved in mail archiving, STRATO specifies EU Standard Contractual Clauses under Article 46(2)(c) GDPR: https://www.strato.de/agb/avv/. Contact hallo@taktufer.de for information about safeguards applicable to a particular transfer and how to obtain a copy.
8. Your rights
Subject to the legal requirements, you may request access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing. Where the conditions are met, you have a right to data portability. For processing based on legitimate interests, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. Contact hallo@taktufer.de to exercise your rights.
You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority. One relevant authority is the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information: https://datenschutz.hessen.de/.
